GARGANTUA DEL DIABLO by NaustvikPhotography.com

Iguazu Falls with it´s 275 waterfalls, is one of the world’s largest waterfall. The sound of 12,750 cubic m water per second is a powerful and exiting experience you can´t imagine before you get there.

Iguazu Falls is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are also a part of the New7Wonders of Nature.

In top to the right is the view point of Devil´s Throat entering from Argentina. The platforms on the left is the view point entering from Brazil.

WEDDING SILJE&AMIR
Some of the shots from Silje and Amirs wedding a month ago. What a perfect day and what a beautiful couple. This was my second wedding as a photographer and I really hope I will get the chance to do it again.

LION by naustvikphotography.com
It´s something special when you meet lions up close at daytime. At first sight they look so relaxed and peaceful , but soon you realize your looking at a real killing machine. This male lion was the leader in a group of 14 lions that was just a few meters from our safari car in Selous Game Reserve, south in Tanzania.

LIFE IS GOOD by naustvikphotography.com

Summer moved on, and soon the autumn is history as well. This weekend I went up in the mountains and had a great weekend hiking and having fun with my camera. Saturday was an amazing autumn day with about zero degrees, clear blue sky and superb fall colors.

A perfect day to test out my new Norrøna /29 Gore-Tex Primaloft Parka as well. I really like it and look forward to many moments out in the cold weather with my camera, being warm and ready for new adventures.

TILL DEATH DO US PART by naustvikphotography.com

A new wedding this weekend

On saturday I´m up for my second wedding as a photographer. Amir and Silje, some beautiful friends of mine are getting married in Oslo, Norway. I really look forward to it. Not only to be a part of the wedding, but also to get a new opportunity to shoot in a wedding.

Last time I took pictures in a wedding was a year ago and I had great fun and the result become quite nice.

Last year I borrowed a Nikon d3s which is an amazing camera. This time I will use my Canon 7D together with a Canon 5D Mark II that I have borrowed from a friend. I really look forward to have two cameras to switch between. It makes it so much easier to get both the details and overview without using time to change lenses.

The plan is to use a Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8, a Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 and a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8. I will also bring a flash and reflectors for the outdoor shots of the couple and family. The rest of the plan is just to have fun and relax :-)

I guess there will be a post after the weekend with some shots and experiences.

If your interested, some of the shots from my first wedding is posted at my portfolio.
